SUMMARY:DEL BROMHAM BAND LIVE AT BROMLEY BLUES CLUB
DESCRIPTION:PURCHASE TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDEL BROMHAM BAND LIVE AT BROMLEY BLUES CLUB \n\n\n\nBromley Blues Club is thrilled to welcome The Del Bromham Band to the stage of Bromley Little Theatre! \n\n\n\nPrepare for an unforgettable night as this legendary band delivers their electrifying blend of blues and rock.\n\n\n\nDel Bromham says\, right from as far as he can remember has always had music in his life. He was just 11 years old when his brother gave him his firstguitar which someone had dumped in his dustbin. By the time he was 12 he was forming his first band at school in Shepherds Bush West London and bythe time he was 14 years old he was playing in his brothers group ‘TheTraders\,’ playing the pubs and working men’s clubs. At 15 years of age he wanted to form his own group called ‘The Stray’. \n\n\n\nBy 1970 at 18 years of age he had signed his first record deal with Transatlantic Records and released the first self-titled album ‘STRAY’. \n\n\n\nStray went on to record around 14 studio and live albums and has toured constantly over the years. There have been other artistes who have covered songs by Del Bromham and STRAY\, notably Iron Maiden who recorded and released STRAY’s\, arguably best known song\,‘All in your Mind’ as the flip side to the 1970 no.1 single ‘Holy Smoke’. \n\n\n\nAlthough with varying line ups over the years\, Del still tours as STRAY as well as having his own solo career. He has recorded 4 solo albums. \n\n\n\nThe last critically acclaimed ‘White Feather’ achieved the best reviews of his career todate. \n\n\n\nDel’s autobiography titled ‘Rock and Roll Survivor’ and the new STRAY album titled ‘ABOUT TIME’ was released worldwide in September 2023. \n\n\n\nDel will be touring with his trio featuring Karl Randall on drums and Colin‘Curvy’ Kempster on bass guitar. Catch him while you can. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n8TH FEBRUARY 2026 \n\n\n\nDOORS 6:30PM \n\n\n\nSHOWTIME 7:30PM \n\n\n\nFINISH 9:45PM \n\n\n\nBROMLEY BLUES CLUB \n\n\n\nBROMLEY \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n Upcoming Events \n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n	\n \n May \n \n 10 \n	\n\n\n	\n \n \n\n \n \n \n 19:30 – 21:45	\n	\n \n	\n SEAN WEBSTER BAND LIVE IN BROMLEY	\n\n \n\n \n \n \n	\n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n \n Jun \n \n 7 \n	\n\n\n	\n \n \n\n \n \n \n 19:30 – 21:45	\n	\n \n	\n JIMMY CARPENTER LIVE AT BROMLEY BLUES CLUB	\n\n \n\n \n \n \n	\n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n \n Oct \n \n 11 \n	\n\n\n	\n \n \n\n \n \n \n 19:30 – 21:45	\n	\n \n	\n MARTIN HARLEY LIVE AT BROMLEY BLUES CLUB	\n\n \n\n \n \n \n	\n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n \n Dec \n \n 6 \n	\n\n\n	\n \n \n\n \n \n \n 19:30 – 21:45	\n	\n \n	\n Bromley Blues Club: The Blues Summit | Dec 6th 2026	\n\n \n\n \n \n \n	\n\n\n \n\n \n	\n View Calendar

We have taken our inspiration from him and brought together a very special one night only super group to bring together the stage some very cool blues tracks. \nDo not miss Blues Summit  \nFeaturingOliver ( Mississippi) MacDonaldConnor SelbyAlan GlenLucy PiperBrent Cundall \nBoth Mississippi MacDonald and Connor Selby are nominated for traditional blues artist for this year’s UK Blues Awards \nMississippi MacDonald is a British Soul-Blues singer/songwriter/guitarist. In 2024\, he won 2 UK Blues Federation Awards – Traditional Blues Artist Of The Year and Acoustic Blues Act Of The Year. \nSince his signing to APM Records in 2021\, he has appeared on BBC Radio 2’s Blues Show with Cerys Matthews and has played extensively in the UK and the US including a Washington State Blues Society showcase on Beale Street during the International Blues Challenge\, appearances on King Biscuit Time (Helena AK)\, and Radio Memphis. In July and October 2023\, Mississippi recorded 10 new tracks with Hi Rhythm (Al Green\, Ann Peebles\, Otis Clay) in Memphis at Royal Studios\, with Grammy Award winning producer Boo Mitchell\, for release later in 2024. \nIn May 2024\, Mississippi was part of the Take Me To The River All Stars along with William Bell (Stax)\, Hi Rhythm\, Jools Holland and Eric Gales both for an upcoming feature film\, and headlining Red Rooster Festival. In the Summer of 2024\, Mississippi headlined the Glastonbury Lovefields Stage. \nMississippi MacDonald’s blues are authentic\, heartfelt\, and reflect a lifetime of learning from the greats.  “Mississippi MacDonald represents the next generation of great guitarists who hail from the UK…wholly authentic\, he’s earned the right to claim the name” Living Blues\, USA \n“Contemporary British bluesman Mississippi MacDonald proves he’s as legit as they come on his hard-charging new record HSLB…a compelling\, engaging artist who is going to make a lot of new friends with this record. He’s a powerful\, soulful vocalist\, and his guitar work is stunning” BluesRoadHouse.com \n“British musicians have long had a burning passion for American roots music and none more than Mississippi MacDonald….. [he] continues to carry the torch as a next generation blues man”. Bluestownmusic.nl \nCONNOR SELBY \nYoung troubadour Connor Selby signed to Provogue Records in December 2022 and has released his major label debut\, the self titled Connor Selby to critical acclaim. One of the brightest talents on the UK blues scene. He has been voted “Young Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards for the last three consecutive years (2020\, 2021\, 2022) and he already has an impressive venue checklist\, including Wembley Stadium\, where he opened for The Who in July 2019 and has since gone on to play Hyde Park\, London\, with Pearl Jam\, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr in the summer of 2022. Connor has also had a productive 2023 touring the UK as the opening act for Blues and Rock Luminaries Robert Cray and Beth Hart. \nThere’s a timeless melancholic quality to his music. Relatable in its honesty and openness\, he draws from anxiety and vulnerability but delivers it with a world-worn elegance. The sky is the limit for Selby\, who\, along with awards\, has picked up numerous plays on BBC Radio 2. It’s easy to see why with his soulful blend of blues and his emotionally introspective songwriting\, which sits alongside his impressive armoury of guitar playing. \nAlan Glen is a British blues harmonica player\, best known for his work with The Yardbirds\, Nine Below Zero\, Little Axe\, and his own bands\, The Barcodes and The Incredible Blues Puppies. His early influences being Little Walter\, Sonny Boy Williamson\, and Junior Wells.
