Chris Corcoran has spent over two decades establishing himself as one of the UK’s most distinctive and celebrated blues guitarists — and the title “Brit King of Jump Blues” is hard-earned.
A multiple UK Blues Award nominee and three-time Blues Junction Productions Instrumental Album of the Year winner, Corcoran leads a tightly-drilled ensemble through jump blues, swing, R&B, and soul with a swagger and precision that fills any room.
His music reaches back to the golden age of jump blues and big-band swing — T-Bone Walker, Louis Jordan, Illinois Jacquet — but arrives in the present day with all its energy intact.
