Trummer released his debut album From The Start in 2024 — a stunning ten-song statement that blends blues, soul, R&B, and rock in a way that feels both deeply rooted and utterly fresh. With a guitar amplifier turned up loud and his heart worn firmly on his sleeve, this is an artist who means every single note he plays. His soulful approach to music and life resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, and his live show is the kind of experience that stays with you long after the last note fades. Rooted in tradition but restless in spirit, Trummer brings a raw, magnetic energy to the stage that simply has to be seen to be believed.
Marcus Trummer has been turning heads across the blues world in a very short space of time. His debut album earned him a nomination for Blues Artist of the Year at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards, and in 2026 he claimed the title of Male Blues Vocalist of the Year at the Canadian Blues Music Awards — a remarkable rise for an artist still at the very start of his career.
In 2023 he won the prestigious Telluride Blues Challenge, before making his US festival debut at the world-renowned Telluride Blues & Brews Festival in 2024. In May 2026 he crossed the Atlantic for the very first time, performing at Moulin Blues Festival in the Netherlands. The response was overwhelming — and it’s safe to say that UK audiences have been on his radar ever since. If that European debut is anything to go by, we are in for something very special indeed.
