CHRIS CORCORAN'S BIG BAND LIVE AT BROMLEY BLUES CLUB IN 2027
The Brit King of Jump Blues brings his big band to Bromley Blues Club for one extraordinary Sunday evening. Expect guitar solos that sing, Hammond organ that swings, driving rhythms, and soaring horns — jump blues, swing, R&B, and soul delivered with the kind of joy and energy that only a great live band can conjure.
THE BRIT KING OF JUMP BLUES
Chris Corcoran has spent over two decades establishing himself as one of the UK’s most distinctive and celebrated blues guitarists — and the title “Brit King of Jump Blues” is hard-earned.
A multiple UK Blues Award nominee and three-time Blues Junction Productions Instrumental Album of the Year winner, Corcoran leads a tightly-drilled ensemble through jump blues, swing, R&B, and soul with a swagger and precision that fills any room.
CHRIS CORCORAN'S BIG BAND
His music reaches back to the golden age of jump blues and big-band swing — T-Bone Walker, Louis Jordan, Illinois Jacquet — but arrives in the present day with all its energy intact.
Guitarist Magazine calls his work “endlessly inventive… our favourite purveyor of vintage blues.” Blues Blast Magazine puts it simply: “This is music where HAPPY resides. This type of feel-good music is timeless. It just WORKS.”
Corcoran performs regularly throughout the UK and Europe and has appeared at major festivals including The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival. Away from the stage he is an ambassador for the International Guitar Foundation Outreach Programme and the author of Chromatic Blues Guitar Soloing — one of the UK’s most respected blues guitar educators as well as one of its finest performers.
