MEMPHIS SOUL, CHICAGO BOOGIE, BLUES & BIG BAND SWING 🎸

Following the tradition of the great collaborative sessions of the 50s and 60s, we have assembled a one-off powerhouse lineup. This is a gathering of the finest pedigree in British and International Blues.

OLI MISSISSIPPI MACDONALD BAND

Mississippi MacDonald is a 4x UK Blues Award winner and a soul-blues stylist of the highest order. Oli Mississippi MacDonald is a member of the prestigious Take Me To The River All Stars, has recorded in Memphis with the legendary Hi Rhythm Section, and earned praise from the likes of Carla Thomas. Wholly authentic and bone-deep in his delivery, he bridges the gap between the Mississippi Delta and the UK scene with masterful guitar work and powerhouse vocals.

CHRIS CORCORAN BIG BAND

Widely considered the UK’s finest blues and jump-swing guitarist, Chris Corcoran is a multi-time UK Blues Award nominee and winner of Best Instrumental Album at the Blues Junction Production Awards. Performing with his Big Band, Chris delivers a high-octane, brass-heavy set that blends 1950s rhythm and blues with impeccable musicianship. Sophisticated, big, and guaranteed to get the room moving.

RARA

RaRa is a vocal powerhouse whose sound is drenched in rich Southern Soul. Drawing inspiration from 1960s icons like Aretha Franklin and Ronnie Spector, she has recorded at the world-famous Royal Studios in Memphis with Grammy-winning producer Boo Mitchell. Her Made in Memphis sound incorporates gospel influences and raw energy, creating an atmospheric experience that transports audiences straight to the heart of Tennessee.

MAX HIGHTOWER

Joining us from across the Atlantic, USA-based Max Hightower is a master of Chicago-style blues harmonica and a virtuoso on the piano. Having shared the stage and studio with blues royalty including Pinetop Perkins and Bob Margolin, Max brings an authentic, gritty energy to every performance. Whether wailing on the harp or driving the boogie on the keys, his presence adds genuine international pedigree to the Revue.
