Gigs in Kent — Questions & Answers
What live music is on in Kent this week or this weekend?
Not every weekend has a Rockin' Roots show: our gigs run on any night of the week, from Wednesday to Sunday. This page lists every upcoming show in date order, so whatever's on next is always at the top, with the date, venue and ticket link.
How do I buy tickets?
Book advance tickets from Gigantic, our official ticket agent, using the Buy Tickets button on each show. Prices shown include the booking fee. Door tickets, when any are left, cost more, and many shows sell out.
How much are tickets for gigs in Kent?
Most advance tickets cost between £22 and £35, including the booking fee. Each show lists its exact price. Tickets on the door, when there are any left, cost more.
Where are your gigs in Kent?
Most of our shows are at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham and Bromley Blues Club at Bromley Little Theatre, and this season we also have shows at The Oast in Rainham. We put on occasional one-off shows elsewhere too, such as Olby's Soul Café in Margate, The Centre in Birchington and The Granville Theatre in Ramsgate (see live music in Thanet), and Leo's Red Lion in Gravesend. Each show page has the venue details.
What time do shows start?
Doors usually open at 7pm in Faversham and Rainham and 6:30pm in Bromley, with music from around 7:30–8pm. Shows typically finish by about 10:30pm. Each show page has the exact times.
Do shows sell out?
Many do, especially in the intimate 90-capacity room at The Oast and the 100-seat Bromley Little Theatre. Booking in advance is cheaper, and the mailing list keeps you up to date with new shows.
What kind of music do you put on?
Blues, rock, soul and roots by touring professional artists and live bands from the UK, Europe and North America, from Delta and Chicago blues to blues-rock, soul and classic rock.
How can I hear about new gigs in Kent?
Join our mailing list and we'll send regular newsletters with new shows and news. You can also get the free RRE app and allow notifications to be told when new shows are added, or follow us on Facebook.
