Unmissable Blues, Soul & The Spirit of Rock & Roll — across the county

Rockin' Roots Events is an independent live music promoter bringing world-class blues and rock to venues across Kent and beyond. Every show is handpicked — unmissable live music in Kent, no filler, no compromise.
From our regular home at the 250-capacity Old Brewery Store in Faversham to an intimate top room in Rainham, we find the right room for the right artist and make sure the audience is ready for them. Kent has a richer live music culture than most people realise, and we've been part of it since our first show in Sittingbourne in 2015.
These are the rooms we call home — venues we return to again and again because the spaces, the audiences, and the atmosphere are exactly right.
Our flagship Kent venue — a converted brewery in the heart of Faversham's medieval town centre. Around 250 capacity, outstanding atmosphere, and an audience that shows up to listen. The Old Brewery Store is where we bring the artists we're most excited about.
Live Music in Faversham →The Oast gives Medway a proper live music room — intimate, around 100 capacity, and a crowd that knows its blues and rock. We bring touring artists here who deserve a listening room rather than a bar backdrop.
Live Music in Medway →In partnership with Oli Mississippi MacDonald as Bromley Blues Club, we bring the best of the blues to South London's doorstep at Bromley Little Theatre — a seated venue where the music takes centre stage.
Live Music in Bromley →Over the years Rockin' Roots Events has brought live music to venues right across our home of Kent. Some are regulars in the making. Others were one-off or occasional shows that put great music in unexpected places. We've also ventured just beyond the county border — Bromley and Penge both sit on the historic Kent boundary, and the audience there is every bit as passionate. All of it is part of the story.
The Old Dairy Taproom in Tenterden is a characterful craft beer venue serving an exceptional range of ales.
View Show →Penge sits right on the historic Kent border, and the Southey Brewery is our most intimate occasional location — up close and personal with a solo or duo performance, with a limited capacity of just 34.
A landmark show at the Kings Hall saw Robert Jon & The Wreck sell out this iconic Herne Bay venue — the biggest crowd Rockin' Roots Events has ever put through the door. Herne Bay has an appetite for this music and we haven't forgotten it.
Faversham's Arden Theatre provided a more intimate seated setting for select shows — proof that the town can support multiple live music formats and audiences.
Folkestone's Quarterhouse in Kent. We have been fortunate to sell this venue out in Folkestone twice.
East Quay sits right on Whitstable harbour — one of the most distinctive live music settings in Kent. Blues by the sea, done properly.
The Appleyard in Sittingbourne was home to The Bourne Music Club — the direct forerunner of Rockin' Roots Events. It's where the concept was proven and the audience began to grow.
Our very first shows — under the Bourne To The Blues name — took place at the Ypres Tavern in Sittingbourne in 2015. Every promoter has an origin story. This is ours.
Rockin' Roots Events is independently run, artist-led, and built on a simple belief: great music deserves a great room. Whether you're in Faversham, Medway, or Bromley — or anywhere across Kent and beyond — there's an unmissable live music in Kent show worth travelling for.
